The Ferrell Machine is Back to Their Old Tricks

Editor Earlie Breck White (pictured), always hot on the trail of the shenanigans of the Ferrell Machine in Federal Way, Washington: “It’s just a matter of time before the Mayor’s Office is exposed, outed and voted out of office…I think 2025 is the year”.

The Federal Way Mayor’s Office, totalitarian-like, took down a recent Party of Commons comment (about the Wards/Districts Petition) on their government-run, unbelievably kind-of-electioneering-style newspaper, “Citywide News”, which is posted on Mayor Jim Ferrell’s FB page, among another government FB page as well. Yet, another manifestation of the high-handed style of the Ferrell Machine, and they may also have a hand in trying to stop the Initiative in other ways as well (the police, communication with businesses’ management, etc.), as they go about their leftist-globalist, totalitarianesque, build the metropolis rule of the city.

Ferrell is, pretty much, unchecked by the so-called conservative City Council, which is probably closing in on the record for unanimous votes in a 2-year session and they are colluding with Ferrell in building the metropolis. Hardly a conservative bent in this so-called conservative Council in more ways than just that, but Commons will digress on the broader areas. All these unanimous Council votes…so no loyal opposition within the government whatsoever. The loyal opposition has to come from the outside, thus the Party of Commons, founded by Mark Greene, and many other Federal Way citizens that are not going along with the program.

One of the best ways to stop the metropolis that Ferrell and Company are trying to build is volunteering to collect signatures with the “Wards/Districts” Committee (Federal Way Citizens Initiative 24-003), an Initiative trying to implement a kind-of-neighborhood-oriented Council and a Council Ward Map. This means that Council Members are elected by a district instead of “entirely” at-large. The Initiative does provide for (leave) one at-large Councilmember, however, as well as a Districting Commission that would draw the 6 wards allotted for in the Initiative that would have more-or-less the same population…in Federal Way, that would be about 16,000 – 17,000 people per Ward. Thereby, maintaining the 7-in-total-membership Council.

Volunteer signature collectors may get anywhere from a $300 – $700 stipend (depending on the number of signatures collected) for those that can go door-to-door and collect 25 to 50 signatures-a-day, 5-days-a-week over a period of a few months.
